Major Changes and a poll

As you can see everyone there are some major changes going on. o.o;; It may be confusing for everyone but I'd really like to bring this site back. So that means seriously starting over.

Chels believes we should have everyone vote on possible new names so feel free to post your idea here.


I'd like to bring up something called "Tagging". This is pretty simple, instead of all of us being in the same thread, which I think may have been the reason why our threads never lasted. We had no sense of balance in them.

This is an example to Tagging, say I want to thread alone with Chels.

Name [Tag: Chels]

Basically this means this thread will only be for me and Chels, unless we invite a person no one else will join.

Also, as you can see I have changed my name to "Bela Night" And am wearing an icon of Nina Dobrev. Bela is my shapeshifter character that I will be introducing soon. I was thinking that we should make a new account everything we make a new character, our name could be our character name, our avvie can be our PB, or Play-By.

I like the tagging idea, i suppose, but i'm not necessarily a fan of the whole "New character, new account" thing.

More on the "tagging" idea. You don't have to only tag one person, you can tag it to as many people as you want, or you can tag it Open, meaning anyone can jump in, though I suggest ask if it looks like it's gotten far.

I do admit as first it would seem like it's difficult, it's something I was never a big fan of in the beginning, but after once you get used to it it clears the confusion. Especially if we have new members, they won't know us like we all do.

But we'll definately have to have a talk about it. Just wanna make sure everyone is going to agree to this.

The other one... if we do end up doing that, I will probably just have one character... so that that rule won't apply to me... so i gess that is a no for that...

But would you guys agree to linking your character apps on your signature? So people can feel free to look at them.

Yes, that sounds like a really good idea actually! (what a character app? Ref page or something?)

Charrie apps don't have to be linked, if the accepted characters portion is organized enough it should be easy for anyone to find them.

Yea, but if we have more than two pages, it might become tedious. And linking would save one time. I dunno though.

There's a way to search the boards, and the way I see it f there was more than one faction they could each have their own sub-board, and it can be edited so you can display up to 100 threads per page, so using control and f to find a name wouldn't be that hard. :/

Linking, I have learned, using up a lot of your 500 allotted characters for your signature. One or two links would use up more than half the space if it was a named link (aka [*URL=exampleurl]Example[*/URL]) and if we wanted to have several characters it would be impossible to fit them into one signature.

To the tagging idea: I like it but it will take some getting use to.
New Account: Knowing my lazy self, I wouldn't want to have to log on and off accounts to post as different charcters but

Ella, people may not want to go through that trouble of having to search for the character app. But we'll have to talk about it more later.

And yes, an App is like a reference of your character. It'll have your char's likes, dislikes, personality, history, ect

I was just giving my opinion, but if they're that anxious to learn about your character, then they should be willing to go through the work of clicking a few buttons.

Also, I think likes and dislikes is better out RP, and honestly, kind of pointless. Who cares if you don't like Earl Gray tea but adore oranges?

What you're saying about the linking is true. What about if we make a thread where everyone will post their character links and a mini bio about that character? I think we should set a limit, say five. That way we don't have to worry about having people stressing or leaving someone they're threading with in the dust while they get everything set. /// I know, but it won't be to difficult to type down something, it helps make the character. And I'm about to make an announcement about the cbox and what I plan on doing to it.

Ok, let's see if I get where you're coming from. So, basically we create a tracker board, everyone has a thread with all their characters in it, and links to threads they're in? I could make a template for that if needed. :3

As for characters, I think we should leave it lenient, because there are people like me that could keep five characters plus active, and then there are people like Kat and Chels that would only keep one or two active (you know I love you! <3). But if we were to notice that someone wasn't keeping their charries active we talk to them about it?

Also, I'm going to whip up a staff board real quick so we can discuss other stuff more.
